Fantastic Trout Fishing Guide - Captain Darren is perhaps the best fishing guide I have hired- anywhere in the US. Just completed my second trip with him and booked a third. He works hard, knows the river and is an awesome teacher. What I like most is his non stop effort, changing patterns, testing different water and techniques. Once locked in, hold because you will catch a lot of trout. Great guide. Good friend.

March 18, 2025 - Amazing Day - Darren is excellent. We caught plenty of fish and he taught me many things about fly fishing that I didn’t know. He was also extremely patient with my 15 year old son.

April 26, 2025 - There is no better guide for trout fishing on Lake Tanneycomo then Darren Sadler - There is no better guide for trout fishing on Lake Tanneycomo then Darren Sadler at Mozark Fishscape. I have used Darren a number of time with friends of mine to learn different techniques to fish for trout on Tanneycomo and he has not disappointed me yet. Regardless of water conditions Darren know how to catch trout. I have also been fly fishing next to Darren when he was taking a break from guiding only to be disappointed because he would catch more and larger trouts them me (fly fishing is what Darrn love to do). Darren loves to teach others how to fish for trout. Regardless of your skill level or age Darren can have you catching fish in no time. He is also a blast to be with as he has lots of fishing stories to entertain you with. And when you get that hatchet knot in your line Darren is patient to get you untangled. I know because I have been there. Darren has all the gear you need and a great new trout boat for fishing when they are running water out the dam. If you want a great trout fishing experience go with Darren!!

April 17, 2025 - Fall Spawning Run Trout - My friend Matt & I booked a trip with Captain Darren Sadler of Mozark Fishscapes to learn the fall trout game. We waded the trophy section below the dam and we out-fished most everyone around us that morning. Darren had us rigged perfectly and we caught nice fish all morning on tiny flies as small as size 24 and 26. Our fly fishing game has been elevated tremendously from the teaching we got. I highly recommend hiring Darren and i can say with certainty he is the best guide I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with.
